ICR
Infrared Cut Filter Removal function converts images from color to monochrome automatically in low light situation.

Impedance
The input or output characteristic of a system component that determines the type of
transmission cable to be used. Expressed in ohms.

Interference
Extraneous energy which tends to interfere with the reception of the desired signals.

Input Voltage indicates the type of electrical current (AC or DC) and the voltage required to safely and effectively power a device.

Insertion Loss
Signal strength lost due to the insertion of a piece of equipment in the line.

IR Infrared Light is a frequency of light which is lower than the human eye's visible spectrum (in the range of 850 ~ 950 nanometers). It is used for covert surveillance and low light camera use.

IR Illumination Range indicates the effective pixels range at which a monochrome CCD camera can utilize the Infrared light from an illuminator and create an image.

Iris
An adjustable aperture built into a camera lens to permit control of the amount of light passing through the lens.

IP
Internet Protocol. A set of rules to send and receive messages at the Internet address level.

IPCCTV
 Internet Protocol Closed Circuit Television

ISDN
Integrated Service Digital Network. A set of standard for digital transmission over ordinary telephone copper wire.
