PAL
Stands for Phase Alternate Line – the color video signal standard used in most of Europe, Australia and the Middle East: 625 Lines, 50Hz.
Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ)
This is a term for equipment with the ability to pan (horizontal), tilt (vertical), and zoom (in/out), usually by remote user control.
Peak-to-Peak
This is the amplitude (voltage) difference between the most positive and the most negative excursions (peaks) of an electrical signal. A full video signal measures one volt peak to peak.
